September 2020: approximately 1/3 of Biden’s campaign days were spent sequestered, out of the public eye.
Never before has a presidential candidate campaigned so little in the run up to an election. The pattern of behavior continues to shed doubt about the wanna-be president’s ability to handle the lightest of days in the role of president, while Trump continues to ‘hold court’ in social media, on the campaign trail, and in the news.
On September 17th, Biden promised “he would mount a vigorous effort in the campaign’s final stretch, barnstorming through key swing states and helping crucial Senate races in the process.” That presence and vigor has yet to materialize, and on October 1, his campaign sequestered him once again.
