This pages list various moments of cognitive dissonance in our nation and entries will continue to be added over time.
Hillary Clinton 2020: “The Democrats who are in the Senate will have to use every single possible maneuver that is available to them to make it clear that they are not going to permit Mitch McConnell to enact the greatest travesty, a monument to hypocrisy that would arise from him attempting to fill this position.”
Hillary Clinton 2016: “The Senate has a constitutional responsibility here that it cannot abdicate for partisan political reasons.”
Senator Warren tweeted on September 4, 2020 at 10:27 a.m. “Imagine being unable to process the very concept of service and sacrifice. Now imagine that person is the President of the United States. President Trump disgraces the title of commander in chief each day he is in office.” It was in response to a debunked story in The Atlantic about the President’s comments about military service members. Senator Warren has made false claims about herself to gain political clout and money. Her ‘service and sacrifice’ has netted her ~$12Million in the bank PLUS ~$1Million per year income (source: Senator’s tax returns).
GOOD FOR THEE BUT NOT FOR ME:
–Mayor Jim Kenney of Philadelphia is caught eating out at a restaurant, but doesn’t allow Philly citizens to do the same.
–Andrew Cuomo caught without a mask in public but mandates New Yorkers to wear them.
–Chicago Mayor, Lori Lightfoot and Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi (maskless) can get their hair done but won’t allow their citizens to do the same.
BLACK LIVES MATTER v. ALL LIVES MATTER
The left consistently supports the fundamental tenant of the BLM movement which says that we need to pay MORE attention to the lives of Black citizens than to all other citizens; left-leaning politicians around the nation are back peddling to condemn the violence in the streets of Democrat-led cities, including Joe Biden’s in his August 30th statement, and repeatedly stating that ALL lives taken or assaulted in violence are important. Sounds a lot like “All Lives Matter”
MSM complained about inadequate social distancing at the 4th night of the RNC on the South Lawn of the White House; the following day an estimated low turn out of 40,000 people crowded onto the Washington Mall for the March on Washington, with little social distancing – no complaints from MSM.
BIDEN THE CATHOLIC:
Biden professes to be devoutly Catholic; Biden openly supports Abortion, including late-term Abortion.
VOTING IN PERSON:
Protesters demonstrating in person to speak out against requiring people to vote in person or by absentee ballot rather than mail-in voting.
-Liberals and BLM are advocating for equal treatment under the law. They advocated for Civil Right Act equal hiring practices.
-Joe Biden bases his VP choice on color and gender.
-CBS News reported on the annual Sturgis rally with a headline that said, “84 arrests, 226 citations and 18 crashes reported in 24 hours at massive motorcycle rally in South Dakota”. These stats included no violent crimes. CBS admonishes those not wearing masks and for “shrugging off” the coronavirus health crisis.
-Continual reports across the country for violent crimes of destruction of property, bodily injury, looting and homicide by all news media outlets including CBS. There has been little to no admonishment for not wearing masks.
– 2012 she said regarding an Obama payroll tax cut, “Individuals families, 160 million American families, this will be a boost. From the macro economic standpoint, the demand that is injected into the economy when people spend this money will be a job creator.”
– 2020 she suggest suing the Trump administration for the same kind of payroll tax cut.
FREEDOM OF PRESS, SPEECH, AND PEACEABLE ASSEMBLY: Associated Press appears to be dismayed that the GOP Nomination will be closed to reporters (8/2/2020); Police in Portland banned from filming reporters and protesters; left working hard to remind people that they have freedom of speech and freedom to peaceably assemble, even if that includes illegal destruction of property and endangering the lives of others.
TO FUND OR NOT TO FUND: Los Angeles Mayor deploys National Guard to quell protests (5/31/2020); Los Angeles Mayor kneels with protesters calling for social justice and police defunding (6/2/2020); Los Angeles Mayor admits during a press conference that the protests have contributed to the rise in Wuhan coronavirus cases (7/3/2020); Los Angeles Mayor calls the cops on protesters that arrive at his home to protect him from protesters. (8/1/2020)
DON’T BLAME ME: left decided that the entire police force needs to be eliminated for the poor behavior of one or a few police officers; left asks that the protesters not be held accountable for the bad behavior of a “few rioters.”
CHICAGO: Mayor of Chicago tweets that President Trump should focus on gun laws instead of other things (TikTok); Chicago has some of the strictest gun laws in the nation and witnessed a 139% increase in gun violence/killings in 2020.
